Mission Statement

The Mayor’s Do Good Fund exists to inspire generosity, strengthen community, and provide meaningful support to Stratford residents when and where it is needed most.
Through charitable giving, partnerships, and community involvement, the Do Good Fund invests in opportunities that improve lives, remove barriers, and help our neighbors thrive.

Our Commitment
Every contribution stays in Stratford, helping local residents, supporting local initiatives, and investing in the future of our community. Together, we believe that even the smallest act of kindness can make a lasting difference.

Purpose
The Mayor’s Do Good Fund is a charitable 501(c)(3) established to enhance the quality of life in Stratford by supporting projects and programs that may not otherwise receive traditional funding. The Do Good Fund provides resources for residents and community initiatives that create lasting positive impact, with a focus on compassion, opportunity, and community engagement.

Contributions may be used to support initiatives such as:

  • Scholarships and youth participation in educational, recreational, and enrichment programs

  • Assistance for individuals and families experiencing unexpected hardship

  • Community beautification and neighborhood improvement projects

  • Volunteer and service initiatives

  • Health, wellness, and quality-of-life programs

  • Educational opportunities and community partnerships

  • Other charitable initiatives that strengthen Stratford and support its residents

Our Promise
Every donation stays focused on one simple idea:

Neighbors helping neighbors.
Whether it’s helping a child participate in a program they otherwise couldn’t afford, assisting a family facing hardship, supporting a community improvement project, or responding to emerging needs, every contribution makes Stratford a stronger, kinder, and more connected community.
